The best any bureaucracy can do is respond to what has already occurred, that is clearly what is happening now. Because of the recent terrorist attempt airline travel will be further complicated for law abiding tourists. I read a post on another blog that was perhaps half in jest that question whether enough C-4 could be placed in a rectum to get it aboard a plane. Is this next?
If the terrorist understood we were serious about keeping them off of our planes we’d all be safer, however because those in charge of our security refuse to profile (because they don’t want to offend sensibilities) the safety of everyone is compromised.
